These black coveralls are made with 100% cotton duck, an incredibly tough material that's water-repellent and abrasion-resisting. Cotton duck is smooth and strong like canvas, natural and breathable like all comfortable cotton fabrics. An edge-stitched corduroy collar tops off the design. Hood snaps and a snap at the top of the zipper help give you even more cold-weather protection when needed.
A soft, permanent press twill blend (7.5 ounce 65% polyester and 35% cotton) creates the warming, medium-weight insulation. This material is softly quilted to 100% smooth nylon taffeta. A pleated bi-swing action back offers plenty of moving room to give you a loose, comfortable fit.
The water-repellent finish, storm cuffs and wind flaps work to seal out the worst weather, keeping you warm and well-protected. Leg zippers extend from the very bottom up to the waist, so it's easy to wear these coveralls with work boots. Pleated elbows make it easy for you to move your arms as well.
Two reinforced hip pockets (the left side has a secure brass zipper) and two front swing pockets with side openings give you lots of storage space. You'll also find an extra tool pocket and hammer loop on the left leg for other odds and ends. A tape measure loop gives you one more convenient carrying place.
Reinforced knees, triple-needle stitching, reinforced bartacks at stress points and the four-needle stitched waistband (with stretchy elastic inserts) create incredibly tough construction. Why wear a lot of clothes in bad weather, when all you need are Berne I417 BK Insulated Black Coveralls?
