Customer Reviews For Carhartt Overalls: R33 BLK Carhartt Quilt Lined Bib Overalls
Now, to the above adjustments to the crotch/boot, these bibs zip high(a good thing) and you will find that with it fully zipped(at my height anyway) it strikes the collar bones and rests, not bunches, on the boot. I have to be able to move (I do autoglass for a living) so I zip to just below the chest pockets as you look at the picture = another perfect!
The bad: The way the shoulder-straps are sewn do not allow enough adjustment for me to bring the bib high enough. My solution has been to fold the straps then leather-rivet = I am going to wear them for a couple years to see how much more they relax before I can bring myself to cut then rivet again.
Ok, now I've seen a number of reviews(not just here cuz I was shopping for what I wanted) and see some having heat problems. For me, I put these on before leaving the house, they warm to body temp, and I leave them on all day. Once they are body temp for me, it doesn't matter if I'm inside or out in the cold, I stay the same temp or take off the matching jacket when active inside. By cold folks, I mean -70 in Montana blizzards where the previous carhartt rig got cold like in the +20's and hoping never to have to test these in that but thinking these might do a little better!
Overall, sofarsogood. In all the reviews that I read before getting these, so many questions to size were unanswered. So I am going to say: Get your size! I have encluded my email with this brief review so feel free to hit me with questions! I will do my best to help you out(that's all I wanted before I pulled the trigger but had to do it myself) but din't see the option.
NoBS now: I ended up not getting my Carharrt rig from Working Person's, though I ordered and(as usual) suffered sizing problems with availability and nothing to do with them. They were nothing but fare and sorry that they couldn't fit me! Everything went without a hitch. I am here writing this because of their customer service and to order some other items plus I wanted to share my Carhartt experience with this artic rig. These guys are really super and hope this helps...

I live in Northern Alaska where the average temperature last winter was -40F, and I was never anything warm and toasty! I also spent several hours in the most extreame snow and wind conditions, on a snowmobile and never got wet or cold.
“Well, you have made my brother a very happy man. He returned home last week from his 3rd tour in Iraq. The very first thing he asked about was his boots...(smiles). They fit him perfectly and he says they feel absolutely wonderful and worth a million bucks to him. Many thanks to you and your company for being so helpful, understanding, and having quality products. You have a lifelong customer, and possibly more to come.
