This tough jacket is made with a 100% cotton duck shell in basic black, so you can wear it with anything. Cotton duck is wind-resistant, and the water-repellent finish will turn bad weather away. A heavy-duty brass front zipper with an extended zipper pull keeps you locked safely inside.
That's where you'll want to be. Because cold air has a tricky way of penetrating even the toughest outer shells, this jacket is lined with brushed tricot material. The lightweight liner is abrasion-resistant, and quilted to heavyweight insulation. The warming insulation helps lock your body heat inside, so even cold air can't bring you down. The sleeves are lined with smooth taffeta instead, so you can easily slide your arms in and out.
Pleated elbows and a pleated bi-swing action back give you plenty of moving room. Use the drawstring to pull the three-piece hood close, and keep your head warm, too. The knit cuffs and waistband fit snugly around your body, stretching as needed to fit comfortably even as they block cold air.
