This light tan jacket has a heavy-duty outer shell made with 100% cotton duck. The material is resistant to wind and weather, but Berne has added a water-repellent finish for extra toughness.
The heavyweight insulation is quilted to brushed tricot lining to create a warm interior. Just zip up the heavy-duty brass front zipper to hold all the warmth inside. An extended zipper pull makes it easy to grasp the zipper even with gloved hands. The sleeves are lined with smooth, satin-like taffeta so the jacket slides off and on easily. Even the three-piece hood, which has a drawstring for a customizable fit, is lined and insulated.
The main seams of this jacket are triple-needle stitched, so every seam is made with three threads. The knit cuffs and waistband are fray-resistant and stretchy to create a snug fit. Pleated elbows and a pleated, bi-swing back create plenty of moving room.
