This Carhartt J14 SDKB Santa Fe Jacket is made of an earthy brown 12 ounce cotton duck, a tough, tightly woven fabric with multiple-ply yarn that is snag-resistant (watch those shrubs!), wind-resistant, and treated to resist any drizzle that might dampen your good time. As they say on tv-"but wait, there's more!" The outer layer of your jacket is garment-washed. Yeah, we know, you wash your garments occasionally, too, so go tell it to the hand.. . . Well, in this case, it means special softeners are added to the wash to let the cotton fibers relax (nobody likes a tense fiber). Result: a fabric with a thicker appearance, reduced shrinkage and a softer feel. On top of this, the material is micro-sanded for smoothness. This luxury style emphasis is continued with an accenting corduroy collar and shaped yokes front and back. People will wonder if you got a second job.
Further protecting you from the elements are the rib-knit cuff and waist bands so moving about and bending don't translate into chilly internal drafts. Of course, triple-knit seams keep things together under all kinds of Working Man conditions. And the zippered front with wind flap not only keeps you warm, but allows you to adjust your coverage easily as you work and the temperature rises, or when you have to go indoors.
Inside you'll enjoy the cushiony warmth of a quilted flannel lining for your body, and quilted nylon lining for your arms.
ID cards, spare change, and other small items have a choice of secure homes with both an inside patch pocket using a hook and loop closure on the left side, and an inside welt pocket with zipper closure on the right. Two outside welt pockets for your hands round out the generous storage assets in this jacket. Talking about storage, this item also features a hanger loop. Don't know about you, but we hate having to have to snag the back of the jacket's neck on a sharp hook to keep it off the ground.

I urge you to "try" and find it at a better price on the internet or in a store. You won't. I just spent 3 hours online looking at all possible ways to purchase the J14 for less. I couldn't. Most prices were as much as $20-$25 dollars more at retail and with discounts plus shipping charges that ranged from a modest $7.00 to as much as $12.00 for USPS groud shipping.
This jacket is literally a steal at this price, right now.
