This Carhartt J130 ARG Army Green Men's Sandstone Duck Insulated Hooded Jacket is incredibly easy to wear. It's the kind of warmth you can take with you even if you haven't got a piece of flint. It also makes for the perfect work jacket with it's durable materials and comforting warmth.
The tough outer shell is constructed of 12 ounce, 100% cotton sandstone duck material. But don’t judge this Carhartt jacket on the cotton. We know that cotton is soft stuff that's gentle on your skin, breathable and easy to wash. But sandstone duck is like cotton on steroids. It's tough and tear-resistant, tightly-woven and durable against wind. It's so strong, in fact, that it resists water. Moisture rolls right off...like water of a duck's back.
In the body of the insulated Carhartt jacket, quilted flannel lining holds in your natural warmth to provide comfort in cold conditions. Quilted nylon material was used in the sleeves. The smooth, abrasion-resistant nylon makes it easy for your arms to glide in and out of the sandstone duck jacket. The sleeves are finished with rib-knit cuffs that create a snug seal around each wrist, blocking cold air. The waistband has been rib-knit as well, a construction method that also prevents fraying.
The hood is attached, and adjustable with a draw-cord closure. Even the hood on this insulated Carhartt jacket is lined with quilted flannel to extend the warmth all the way up to your head. Two inside pockets and two lower front pockets, which double as hand-warmers, provide storage space.
Triple-stitched main seams keep this men's Carhartt jacket durable for long-lasting wear. Instead of just one thread, three are used to make stitches with triple the strength of ordinary clothes.
