Made with 8 ounce, 100% cotton canvas, this jacket is incredibly soft and strong. Cotton canvas is incredibly resilient but breathable, water-repellent and machine-washable. The brushed, hand-washed finish makes the fabric smooth and soft to the touch. A #7 zipper, with an antique brass finish, holds it together.
The inner part of this jacket is lined with gray, 6.5 ounce, non-pill fleece lining. This soft, insulating material holds in your body heat to beat the cold. Silky smooth taffeta lining in the sleeves (quilted to polyester fiberfill for soft insulation) helps this garment slide on and off with ease.
Use the drawstring to pull the three-piece hood close, blocking chilling winds. Soft inner fleece lining adds snug warmth. Even the two lower pockets, welt style for easy access, have warm fleece lining. The exposed knit cuffs and waistband, which match the rest of the jacket, help create a tight seal against stray winds.
Each four-piece sleeve has a true articulated elbow for a free, easy range of motion. This jacket is also constructed with a true bi-swing back, which has elastic inserts for stretch and quick recovery.
Secure your valuables in the two inside pockets, both of which can be closed with Velcro. “Being big, it's hard to find things that fit. I prefer American made products like the new balance shoes, and I thank you for offering American Made products. The Riggs jeans, Dickies shirts, and the new balance shoes I ordered today, all fit very well and I'm very pleased. Note, I also ordered a Dickies jacket recently that did not fit around the waist (wasn't even close) and wasn't long enough to reach my belt line. Defect or incorrect size marking, I don't know, but we returned it, and ordered another brand jacket today. Your service and return policy is the best and was very helpful, especially when I tried several types of work boots last year before you found me one that fit. Thanks very much for being there, and please do not go out of business or change anything. You're perfect the way you are!
