This glossy brown jacket is made of seam-sealed, heavy-duty nylon. The brush tough design on the fabric creates the smooth, glossy finish that's 100% waterproof. A full front zipper, protected by a storm flap that fastens shut, adds protection to the one vulnerable area of this jacket. A jaunty black collar finishes off the stylish look.
A detachable hood adds another protective layer, with a drawstring that you can pull close for added warmth and snap closures so you can get a secure fit. Inside, the insulating fleece lining is quilted for comfort and added warmth. Fleece is knit for added softness and comfort, and in the end it's much better than growing a lot of extra hair for warmth.
The vertical chest pocket has its own zipper closure and storm flap, so even your valuables will be protected against weather and water. Two large pockets in the front are fleece-lined to provide hand warmth or storage whenever you need it. “I bought a pair of the waterproof, insulated, 12 in. Georgia Boots to wear in the massive underground (UMWA) Harris coal mine in Boone Co., West Virginia. As a union fireboss, I walk at least 5 miles a night 300+ feet underground through some of the worst conditions anywhere. After 27 years and at 4 different Eastern Coal Corp. mines, these are the best boots I've ever worn. Thanks for making my job more bearable and comfortable, as comfort is a hard thing to find in coal mining.
