Two layers of fabric keep you dry and warm. The black, external shell is a heavyweight, 100% nylon. This blocks rain and prevents moisture from getting to your skin. The 100%-polyester lining provides an additional layer between wetness and your skin and also provides insulation for warmth. The seams throughout the pants are taped, making them thoroughly waterproof.
Designed to be worn as outerwear, these Berne pants have an elastic waist with a drawstring so you can pull them on. Leg zippers from the waist to the ankles let you take them on and off with ease or fit them on over boots. Leg snaps also allow you to adjust the fit of the hem over or under your boots. They also have adjustable waist tabs and removable, optional suspenders which give you tons of options for adjusting comfort and fit. A hip pocket with zip closure goes a long way toward keeping its contents dry.
