Pelican 2400 StealthLite Black Xenon Flashlights were engineered using corrosion-proof ABS. Everything from computer cases to car bodies are made with the same ABS class of material. It’s seriously durable and very, very tough.

The polycarbonate lenses are tough, too. Did you know that bulletproof windows are made out of a polycarbonate? But even tougher than bulletproof glass… anti-theft packaging. The bubble kind you can’t open without a hacksaw and a pair of pliers. One of the reasons it’s so tough is that it flexes when hit.

The Xenon bulb has 10,000 candelas – that’s the candlepower. The term candlepower originated in the 1800s, when the power of light was measured by the intensity of a single candle flame. That’s a lot of light coming from a tiny Xenon bulb. It’ll light up the night whether you’re just in the backyard or out in the mountains. You’ll get up to 30 hours of light from the Xenon bulb.

The polycarbonate lens lets more visible light through than some types of glass. Not all light can be seen by people. The 25 lumens of the StealthLite tells you how much of the light is within the human range. Besides being durable and lighting up your world, the StealthLite is submersible to 500 feet. You can drop it in the lake and it will still brighten your world.
