This brown bomber-style Pella jacket has a great, classic fit. A western-style yoke at the front and back adds extra detailing and helps the fit. The timeless bomber cut worked for Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart, so why wouldn't it look great on you?
The exterior of this Pella jacket is made of a 12-ounce, 100% cotton "plied yarn" duck. That means that the fabric of this lined jacket has plied yarn (yarns that are twisted together) in both the warp and the weave of the fabric, resulting in a soft, pliable material. Once woven, the duck is finished with durable water-repellent finish that helps keep you dry.
Inside, this warm jacket is lined plaid flannel that's quilted to 6.6 ounce Dacron Hollofil 808 insulation. Hollofil has a high loft, and the insulation will keep you cozy all winter long. A knit 100% stretch nylon waist panel and storm cuffs at the wrists also help you stay warm by creating a seal against cold exterior air. At the neck of this insulated jacket is a corduroy collar that can be turned up against the wind, giving your face extra protection from the wind. The collar has snaps that allow you to attach the jacket's optional matching hood.
One great feature of this Pella jacket is that it has quilted nylon sleeves for easy on and off. Instead of having flannel in the sleeves, which can easily tug on your sweater or shirt sleeves and pull them up into the jacket, the sleeves of this Pella are slippery on the inside, so your clothing stays comfortable underneath.
Block out the wind in this insulated jacket by zipping up the sturdy, large-tooth brass zipper with inside storm flap. That's two layers between you and the cold, outside world. Two deep, set-in pockets give you plenty of room to warm your hands--in fact, the pockets are so deep you might be able to use them to warm your elbows!
