With this M46 Petzl lightweight (only .30 pounds) tool, you can connect to any harness with two attachment points. Designed for use as your main attachment harness, this little device may not look like much but it certainly packs a wallop - and it keeps you exactly where you need to be.
Using this tool, you can install a lanyard with an energy absorber on any Newton harness. The opening is 23 mm wide between the nose and the open gate, enough room for most ropes. The breaking strength of this tough little tool is 15 kN in all directions. A single kN (or kiloNewton) is equal to 225 pounds of weight, just to give you an idea of the strength contained in this elegantly simple attachment device.
