The Petzl L71 20 ASAP'Sorber Energy Absorber With Integrated Lanyard is designed to connect the Petzl ASAP mobile fall arrester to a harness. In the event of an accident the energy generated from a fall is absorbed by the tearing of specifically designed stitching. This is the 20cm version but to ensure the best compromise between distance from the rope and the height of the fall there is also a 40cm version available.
The terminations are equipped with a STRING which serves a dual function, to protect he connector attachment loop from abrasion between it and the wearer and to allow the connector to be held in the strongest, the major axis, position.

“The shirts came in yesterday, they are oh so AWESOME. Please be sure to tell the person that worked on the logo, that they did an awesome job, my husband said that out of all the times we have had our logo monogrammed, that it was the best one he has saw. My welding shop foreman said I have probably started something. He says once the other guys see the shirts they will be wanting them also. We have another shop where the guys fabricate thermal insulated removable blankets and we have several crews out in the field that erect scaffold and insulate equipment and vessels and tanks and piping and then cover it with metal jacketing.
