Petzl: C71000 1A Navaho Bod Fall Arrest Harness
Whether working on a permanent structure like a utility antenna or a temporary structure like an outdoor concert stage, you need to insure your personal safety with the proper protection. We suggest you always use the Petzl C71000 1A Navaho Bod Work Positioning Fall Arrest Harness.
The Petzl Navaho Bod is specifically designed for energy and network situations but can also be used for on-site rescues, rope access and confined spaces, and ski-lift rescues. The yellow and gray harness features a wide semi-rigid waistbelt. Petzl lines the waistbelt and the suspension seat of the Navaho Bod with breathable perforated foam. The waistbelt has three equipment loops with a protective sheath and there are slots for a CARITOOL Tool Holder.
The foam shoulder straps are widely spaced to reduce chaffing and neck irritation. No one likes having to untangle a harness every time you need to wear the device. The Petzl Navaho links the shoulder straps to the directional ventral connector making the harness easier to get on and off.
When the waistbelt is weighted, the load is transferred to the shoulder straps and the weight is distributed evenly over the shoulders. The ventral attachment points distribute the weight more evenly between the waistbelt and the leg loops while working suspended. Finally, the two lateral attachment points transfer the weigh evenly around the waistband for greater comfort when leaning back in the belt using your feet for support.
The Navaho Harness has sternal and dorsal attachment points for connecting a full arrest system. There is also a rear attachment point on the waistbelt for connecting a restraint lanyard.
As a kid you always dreamed of running away and joining the circus. You may not fly with the Wallendas but when you are hanging high above the ground for work, you feel free and you don’t worry thanks to a the Petzl C71000 1A Navaho Bod Work Positioning Fall Arrest Harness.
