These black coveralls are made with 100% cotton mid-weight duck material. Cotton duck has the water-repellent strength of canvas, the same material used in sails. The material is wind-repellent, so cold drafts won't find their way inside to chill little bodies. Natural cotton is soft to the touch and easy to machine wash.

Inside, bonded polyester fiberfill insulation locks in the warmth. The black taffeta lining creates a smooth, satiny interior. The 2-way zippers (#5 antique brass) on the front and legs make it easy to get little bodies in and out. Exterior storm flaps keep moisture away from the leg zippers.

Chest pockets with Velcro flaps, an inside chest pocket, dual hip pockets and two double utility pockets give them plenty of storage space. The double knee construction (with cleanouts) and triple-needle stitching make the overall design tough, even against little ones. Instead of using one thread for the stitching, three were used for triple strength.
