Port Authority J727 Men’s Black Ultra-Soft Wind Shirts are made with a microfiber outer fabric and a nylon lining. It makes them light, soft and silky to the touch. They’re perfect for spending the day outside, when a brisk breeze feels chilly or if it’s drizzling . They work by blocking the wind, but they’re lightweight so they don’t make you feel hot. The specially-designed fabric makes the rain or drizzle just roll off.
Microfiber is a very fine filament that is less than one denier. A denier is the size of a single strand of silk. The filaments come in different shapes, sizes and for different uses. The synthetic fibers used to make the fabric are chosen for their properties, so the fabric has the attributes you’re looking for.
