The SD ratings for these work shoes have also been approved to meet or exceed ASTM F 2413-05 testing standards. This feature dispels static to the ground, not to the sensitive equipment around you. You’ll stay visibly safer, thanks to the reflective yellow trim throughout the shoe. The yellow adds a shot of color to the Puma shoes, too.
The Puma Safety 64.256.5 slip-resistant rubber outsoles feature DuoCELL and Torsion Control System technology and meet ASTM F 1677 Mark II slip-resistance standards. What this means is the impact-absorbing, energy-returning outsoles on these safety toe shoes ensure your feet optimal comfort and energy throughout the rigors of all-day wear. The tread on these outsoles are optimal for smooth interior surfaces. Work around a lot of heat? The outsoles used for these heat-resistant shoes protect up to 572° F. We don't recommend wearing these tennis shoes in high heat environments.
