My career as a tree surgeon began in 1975, I was in the business and still am of trying to assist folks to preserve their trees. However there is a time when trees must go and this is a time when (climbing gaffs) are necessary for 6-8 hrs. I have used about every kind of boot you could for this event but not one worked like the 16

I have bought 3 pair of westcoast line...

I have bought 3 pair of westcoast line boots in 30 years of work. I have worn each pair out and returned each pair for rebuild and have been more than satisfied. My feet and I thank you. I see new guys come on the job with a cheap pair of boots and just laugh and tell them if they are going to make a career as a lineman to get the best boot made which to me is wesco.

When you are a lineman and use gaffs...

When you are a lineman and use gaffs for pole climbing this is the best gift you can buy ,for your back.Great support and truly stands the gaff. I've had 4 pair in 10 years and would not use nothing else.

Been wearing 16" Wesco's since 1998 -- the Best Climbing Boot I ever purchased!!!...

Been wearing 16" Wesco's since 1998... if there's a better climbing boot out there -- I'm not aware of them. While in the Air Force we were issued Carolina's; decent boot, but, not as good as the Wesco's I have. The Wesco boot is much more comfortable to wear, after climbing 30 - 40 poles poles a day, you need a quality, dependable product. In addition to that, my 16" Wesco's Look Good and I love the refurbish policy; as a matter of fact, its time to get mine done. If you are in the market to buy a climbing boot -- try these, I think you will like them.
