Dickies Pants: Cotton Painter Relaxed Fit Work Pants 1953 WH

Ive been a professional painter for 25 years. Ive always had a hard time finding a decent pair of painter pants @ a decent price. I found this to be true in the big city and now even more so in the country. in fact , finding ANY painter pant in Northern Michigan is not possible.-- Even in the Detroit area I had to travel miles , only to find that they did not have my size or all they had were Carhartt (sorry , to hot) or some other brand that usually was either overpriced or did not fit right. Ive always liked The Dickies Pant line for their lightweight comfort , design and affordability.-- I'm a hard worker and i trash my pants often on the job sites. Ive always been suspicious of painters in nice , clean and expensive painter pants. I find the 1953's an excellent painter pant that is both comfortable and durable as well as a great value through " The Working Person's Store ". As far as the Putty or " 5 way " pocket being shortened... uhh..I think that's the cell Phone Pocket. The 5 way pocket is right behind it. At least that's the pocket i use ( or just the back pocket). I highly recommend not only the 1953's , but purchasing them through " The Working Person's Store " as well. Their price is GREAT , the condition is Brand new and they delivered them to my door in 2 days (unheard of in Northern Michigan). Thanks W.P.S. , I'll be ordering again soon , as the 3 pair i bought are quickly getting trashed.

Glad I checked reviews because I too am looking for pants where the putty knife pocket is not shortened. Will NOT buy Dickies until they go back to longer pocket.

My business specializes in Remod,renovations,repairs,custom work, & design. I've been in the business since age 13. I had always worn jeans,...first lee and then later levis. I hated them for working and never could find any combination or pant type that did work. I tried Carhart,...great pants,...however while they offer much more flexibillity their short coming is heat. They are just too hot to wear during the summer months! I tried shorts for a long time,...ever touch hot asphalt with your leg? You may discontinue wearing shorts. I finally tried painters paints,....these are the bomb!!! They don't last as long as jeans or carharts, they get dirty fast, they do however feel extremely comfortable and they breath very well!!!

As a seasoned painter I have been wearing Dickie's painters' pants for years, but stopped buying them because I am right handed. The most important tool a painter uses is a putty knife. Guess what guys---someone shortened the putty knife pocket. It doesn't fit all the way in. oops!

good pants, din't have to shop for them, just order and there here in a few days.

You can't find large sizes in these kind of pants, so I was ever so glad to find this web site that has them. THe service is remarkable, thank you.

You don't got to be a painter to wear these here pants. I paint, build, repair, install lota stuff. The pants are real good.
