I am the first woman welder my company has had. I bought this leather jacket and loved the teal color. It didn't take long to break it in, and it does wash up good.

I bought this jacket expecting it to be stiff and heavy. Not! It's a good protecter jacket working in a forge too.

GREAT VALUE - GOOD FIT...

I don't have to look any more, as I like the Black Stallion F9 30 Fire Resistant jacket. I wanted something I could keep in a locker and use daily. I have all the heavy duty stuff but my little auto-resto shop gets too hot during the summer and an all leather jacket is overkill for the mainly light duty welding and cutting I normally do.
You can spend a whole lot more for a welding jacket of this type but you'll not get a better value. This simple, comfortable fitting jacket is; priced right and made right.
If you are a no-nonsense welder who isn't looking for flames & skulls on a welder's work jacket this is about as good as it gets for such a small investment. I would strongly recommend getting one of these light to medium duty even if you have an expensive heavy duty jacket already.
