Working maintenance in a 2500 inmate prison means lots of walking on cement all day. After buying numerous brands of boots I decided to try Danner. What a difference these boots make my feet feel at the end of the day. I will never buy another brand again.

From the side zip to the sole to the lining, these boots are the greatest. As a rescue worker, there are times when lacing up a shoe could cost someone their life. With these, we just cram them on, zip and off we go. Really an excellent boot.

This side zip is the only way to go. save the morning tug of war when I have to slap the boots on before going to work. Wearing a good sock is the other half of the battle, and I got that done here too.
