if you need padding for protection, don't get these, but for light work and a bit of protection between you and the shovel/rake handle, then you got just what you need. The price is great for a dozen, which gives me enough gloves where I need them--garage, tool shed, boat dock, truck, etc.

I keep these gloves handy in the warehouse for the workers. For $1 a piece, I can't go wrong. It keeps the guys injuries down and production up. Well worth providing them these gloves. I do buy other safety gear from Working Person Store too. Glasses, vests, shoes, welding gloves and jackets, and more.
