Great boots for the price...

I purchased my first pair last year in February and they are just now wearing out, I use them everyday and crawl under houses with them as well. I love the zipper on these Thorogood boots because it allows me to adjust my boot to the right pressure with out having to replace them. I highly recommend these combat boot and have purchased a second pair. When I start hiring guys I will make sure they wear these for cost as well as comfort they cant be beat. I cant seem to come up with anything else to fill in all the charcters that are needed :)

Tough and comfortable...

I am a large guy and usually wear out a pair of work boots within a year. I work as an EMT and can be pretty rough on a pair of boots. These Thorogood boots are just over a year and still have a lot of life in them! They still keep my feet dry and are easy on/off for those late night runs. The zipper is strong and has the Velcro tab to keep them zipped. The soles provide good traction without having the big lugs that keep mud between them.
They're probably not the best for cold weather and snow. I have had snow come in over the tops of them, but I guess that's why they make taller boots! Same with water, make sure you know how deep it is before stepping in!
I hope they are still in stock when I order again. WPS has the best price I've found!

Working Person has the best price...

This is my third pair of this same shoe. When I find something I like I see no need to change. I was buying from a large boot store but I saved $20 buying here on-line instead of locally. Saved me time and gas money, too. I like the shoe and don't see a reason on taking a chance of getting somethong else which might end up being uncomfortable. They are lightweight and durable. The side ziiper adds convenience of easy off and on. It is a great duty shoe and it complies with our dress code. I typically get over a year of wear before I feel like they should be replaced even though they are not worn out. Hope it stays in stock so the next time I need a pair they will be available for me!
