really good boot...

I'm a roughneck, and everyone wears Red Wing boots. I got tired of wet feet, tired feet, hurting ankles, blisters and all the other things you encounter with new Red Wings , so I tried these and they were great from the beginning, No break-in required. The sole isn't the best on a wet slick oil-based mud filled floor but then what is ? These really are water proof and they are tall enough that if and when you step into a ditch, your boot doesn't fill with water. Whatever the claim of this boot it so far has rung true.
