FANTASTIC!!!!!!...

I used these during my police academy days and I must say they are WAY better than BATES. I was originally issued Bates, but they wouldn't hold a good enough shine so I listened to my buddy and got these. Wow do they shine up well. Had the best shoes in my class by far. Would buy these again anyday....if I had to go through the academy again (hope not).

comfortable, made in China...

Be advised that these Thorogood shoes, unlike most Thorogoods, are not made in the USA. This is of course reflected in the lower price, and lower quality. For the price, they are decent, but they're certainly not the best that money can buy. They're comfortable and break in quickly and easily. I had to size down about 1/2 a size, but some of my buddies bought their normal size and found them too tight. I would definitely recommend trying them on before buying.
