I prchased a pair of these boots a couple months ago. Wore them one day and when I got home that evening I sat down to have my 8 year old daughter pull them off for me. When she grabbed the heel the back plastic piece ripped where it connects to the heel cap. I sent them back to timberland and was told they could not find any defect in the boot. they sent the m back to me as is. I will never buy another pair of Timberland boots nor will I reccomend them to anyone. Totally dissatisfied. expensive lesson, well learned.

Two years and still a great boot...

I got these boots almost three years ago and I work in paper mills and ship yards as a welder and these are the best boots I ever wore. And my feet have never been wet and they have never had a smell due to moisture in the boot they really stay dry

I have had these boots for 1 1/2 years. Wear them to work every day. They are still the most comfortable boots I own. I recommend them.

if it wasn't for the plastic piece in the back i would have given this boot an excellent rating ! it does make the boot go on easier but it cracked then broke off after several months. other than that this is the best boot i have ever owned.
