Great boots...

I would recommend these boots. I have been wearing a pair of Redwing 968's relatively regularly for the last few years. Unfortunately, they are a little too big and I finally broke down and spent the money on a pair that fit better. Chippewa's boots fit better (design wise, not size), look nicer, and are made in the USA. I intend to lather them up with some Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP to waterproof them and protect them as soon as I get done writing this review. A bit of care by me (the owner) and the fact that they can be resoled means they should last for years. I appreciate The Working Person's Store. I have bought a couple of pairs of boots from them. I was happy today when the boots showed up at my front door directly from the manufacturer.

These boots are the best boots I have...

These boots are the best boots I have ever owned. They are true to size and very durable. I thought the heel was high since I use a heel shifter so I took them to a shoe repair shop and they lowered the heels to normal shoe height for $8. The cobler said they are high quality boots and can be resoled without any problems, so I will have them for a long time. Worth ever penny.

Great Boots!...

I wear these boots for motorcycle riding. They are very sturdy and well constructed. Soles are somewhat smooth, but have good grip on pavement. Fit is great, tho the soles are initally very stiff and take a while to break in. Treated boots w/ mink oil and rode to Wisconsin this summer in the rain and my feet stayed dry the entire trip. They also polish up well w/ conventional shoe polish. I would recommend these boots to any biker.

I wanted this boot for the classic look,turned out getting much more. I wear these boots every day for work and play,very comfortable. Would recomend to anyone who wants a great looking,tough,comfortable boot at a good price.

Good pair of boots. I don't ride, but I had a pair of similar boots in high school and liked them alot. These are made well....and made in USA. Comfortable. A pain to pull on at first because the tops are stovepipe design, but you get the hang of it quick. I already where them a lot.
