Rugged boots...

The way that I wear boots puts even the toughest pair to shame. But these Chippewa work boots 55160 have withstood everything that I have thrown at them and more. The boots have survived days upon days of hiking in the Rocky Mountains. This includes crossing rivers where the water proofing comes in handy, hiking steep and slippery inclines, and slogging through fresh snow. These are some boots and show little wear. It is safe to say that I love these boots. I plan to purchase a new pair of these boots when mine eventually wear out. Great boots*****

good boots....but.........

When searching for a work boot, I decided to try Chippewa because I thought they were American made. Boots arrived and are very comfortable and have performed well so far, but I was disappointed to see a China tag, therefore, only 3 stars. I could not find on the wp website that states the country of orgin.
