While this is certainly great for hunting (hence the visibility) this Carhartt hat is a bit too orange for public wearing-- imagine a traffic cone, but covered with lights. It's fairly warm, although it would be nice if it was a bit warmer (I enjoy cold weather, sue me) but i suppose this would do well if it used in a warmer climate. My buddies seem to love theirs, and you can't really beat the low low price. I think this is best for a work hat if you have to wear high visibility stuff, or like I said before, hunting.
