From mid-November until late March, these are the work pants I wear. I'm a renovation contractor, and spend a good deal of the New England winters working outside on people's houses. The lined pants are the first of several layers, and the most important. The lining is soft and easy on my skin, and the pants are typical Carhartt; tough enough to stand up to almost any abuse. The lining is so warm, there are times where I begin to overheat if the thermometer creeps above 35-40.

Oh, yea. It doesn't get really cold where I live, but it does get a bit cold in the mornings. I wear these bad dudes so I don't freeze my butt off. Same Carhartt work pants with a lining. Whoda thunk?
