Good shoes, but not quite what is advertised...

The bottom line is this: these Rockport RK6522 oxford shoes are definitely worth the $80.00 if you are looking for a pair of quality, hard-wearing oxfords as work shoes. They certainly aren't the most fashionable shoes around (and you should probably go for a pair of Allen Edmonds if that is what you're looking for), but they are a good middle ground. However, I have some doubts about the shoe. I've had it for a year now, and I'm pretty sure the upper is not full-grain leather, as it's starting to crack. Perhaps I just had some bad luck. Also, I'm not sure if the shoe can be resoled. Still, would recommend!
