Not much traction...

When you get hiking boots, traction and comfort are part of the most important things to look for. These only had one of them. Walking was no problem with these, I found them quite comfortable. My feet received slight chaffing from the heel but I fixed that with better socks. These boots didn't have much traction, and any traction given was disappointing. I wasn't able to see how these boots would fare against water or rigorous elemental extremes that would test the quality of the boot. I would suggest looking for a better option.
