good duty shoe...

This Bates oxford 00007 is the perfect shoe for when you need to look nice but want to maintain a certain level of functionality with it. These shoes are rigid, sometime uncomfortably so, but that just means they'll keep up with you. The shoes themselves are relatively comfortable, but this should be known as an on duty functional dress shoe, not an alternative to a nice oxford from a brand such as Allen Edmond. I would suggest them.
