Warm and convenient...

This Carhartt hood is a great all-around hood. I love my Carhartt brown duck chore coat. It's the perfect blend of durable, good looking, and warm and I wear it all through the fall and early spring. But when winter comes and I just can't bear to put it away and swap it out for a heavier, bulkier coat, I turn to this hood. The quilted lining is just heavy enough that it keeps my head warm, but the hood isn't bulky or awkward. It snaps right to the button snaps under the collar of my chore coat, and looks totally natural once it's been snapped in. Plus, the brown duck material matches my coat perfectly. Although the price is a bit steep, it's definitely worth it as it allows me to extend the period in which I can wear my favorite work coat.
