Good snowboard boot protector...

First off, I know that this Impacto metguard isn't intended to be a guard for snowboard laces, however I have been able to successfully incorporate it onto the top of my snowboard boots.
When snowboarding, I have always had an issue with riding the lift up the mountain with my snowboard hanging from just one foot. It always felt fairly uncomfortable to me - by the time I reached the top of the mountain my foot (and sometimes leg) would be asleep. I started resting my board on my free boot which alleviated this issue, however it also led to the board's edge chopping up my boot and my laces.
I managed to attach this to the top of my boot after some fiddling and it has worked wonderfully so far at protecting both my boot and my laces from the sharp edge of my board. I would definitely by another to replace it on my next pair of boots!
