I use these Wigwam F8020 308 socks primarily for hiking and for when I am wearing boots. Although they are definitely really comfortable, I would probably not suggest them for normal shoe wear as they would be a bit too thick (perhaps with a pair of larger shoes?).
The material is really nice and works to wick away moisture from your feet. I haven't really had any noticeable issues with blisters outside of what I would normally experience and so far they have been holding up well, despite repeated use hiking (and in a pinch, snowboarding). It would be nice if they went up a bit higher on the leg, but this is a minor concern.
