These Filson 14010 wool Mackinaw Field Pants are like the pants that your grandfather wore, in a good way. In my opinion wool is the ideal material to make cold weather pants out of and these are 100% wool. They will last a life time with proper care and maintenance. You cannot say that about most articles of clothing. The styling is classic and in my opinion beautiful. I really could not be happier with these trousers. There are plenty of pockets for the spare ammunition that I bring to the range. And I feel that the pockets are durable enough to contain the often destructive ammunition. Filson brand is a solid buy it for life product*****
