Warm and waterproof...

I like the Port Authority J309 hooded jacket is great. On days when it's not cold enough to snow, but still cold enough to require a jacket, you're going to want some sort of insulated outerwear. Wool coats are great for this - until it rains. Wool gets smelly and heavy when it gets damp, and that makes it very uncomfortable to wear. ThisPort Authority jacket, however, is light and so waterproof that you'll stay dry even in the strongest of storms, and and so well insulated that you'll hardly even feel the chill. I really like this jacket - it's got a good balance of functionality and form, and I would definitely recommend it.
