Dickies comes through again...

These Dickies men's black cotton T Shirts D755B shirts are the greatest step up from white t shirts that you can make. They make you look slimmer than white t shirts when you wear them with a pair of jeans or shorts, and they work just as well for layering. The fit is pretty generous (you could probably size down if you're not worried about length) but the construction is high quality and the material seems like a good middle-weight: not paper thin or too heavy. Plus, two shirts for this price is a great deal, especially when they're of this quality.
