Does its job well...

My brother has this NSA hood and he wears it under his firefighting gear when they practice outside with the fire hoses. It's a great hood because it's lightweight and doesn't heat you up at all, but it's substantial and can protect you from fire. It give you the peace of mind when you're in full gear that you won't have to worry about sparks or flames causing you issues, and protects your head and neck from any fire-related hazards you may come across. He said it fits a little tight at first, but it stretches out. And the fabric has a unique feeling that is in line with the special material they use to manufacture it. Definitely recommended this if you're looking for a lightweight, well made fireproof hood.
