This Ariat 10007900 6" non metal Flexpro work boot will hold to anything that you can possibly put it through. It will help you cross rivers and streams, scale giant mountains, and traverse dangerous deserts. The boot is simply very tough. I have owned this particular boot for almost seven months and in that time it has more than earned my trust. The thing is durable the walls are practically puncture proof, as demonstrated when I managed to drop my pocket knife on them. The soles are tough as nails and the eyelets are welded meaning that they will never fail. Just a great boot.
