holds ink well...

I have been using these Anvil Classis Cotton T shirt US779 shirts for screen printing for 3 years now. They are very bright in pigment, are made from pretty thick cotton and fit true to size.
I also like that they are relatively slim fit. I'm relatively tall and skinny, and these shirts are long enough without being overly baggy. They also don't shrink up after washing, and if printed on, NEVER lose ink in the washer.
These are a real bargain for how high quality they are. I would highly recommend these over American Apparel, Hefty, Hanes, etc.
