I am a size 9 and the fit...

I am a size 9 and the fit was excellent. They seemed very sturdy and well-built. I do have older feet so I need better insole support than what these boots provide. Unfortunately you cannot change out the inserts in this boot, you can only add an insert. Order up a half size if you need to do this.

Comfortable Boots...

I work in an indoor industrial environment, and work shoes for women in general are hard to find. I tried these, and they are comfortable. At first, they seemed so heavy, and I switched back to a lighter weight shoe, but my feet feel better protected with these, and I started wearing them again. I guess they're kind of more shoe than I need for an indoor application, but I like them.
I like the heel, it puts your foot into a comfortable position, and they are comfortable for 8+ hours of standing at work. And also, because they're tall, they help support your ankles. I bought the wide width- just in case, but after the leather stretched as I wore them and broke them in, I probably should have bought the regular width, that's the only thing I regret. So if you don't regularly wear a wide, you don't really need one.

If you are looking for a sturdy workboot...

If you are looking for a sturdy workboot that will pay for itself twice over . . Would definately recommend! A must-have for outdoors. Hiking, camping, riding, field work. All around the best shoes I've owned for my lifestyle. The only complaint I have is the soles are starting to wear down, after a full year of everyday use.
Before these, I had a problem finding workboots my size. Everywhere I looked they didnt carry small enough, so when I came across these I was delighted.

This is the third pair I've owned!...

I work outdoors for a living and I need a good rugged pair of boots, I also own a waterproof pair. I will never buy anything but Carolina's as long as they are available to me. They last forever and if you condition them they will stay nice looking.

Trudging along rugged trails I fouond the hard way, there is a difference in good foot wear. After I got these loogers I couldn' believe the difference they made. Sure makes my day better.
