These Avenger boots looked good out of the box. But good looks are just that. They were comfortable when I first put them on. I wore them all day and had no real stiffness or tightness that usually comes with a new pair of work boots. Actually they were very surprising, being right out of the box. However, the upper eyelets are made of plastic and not very sturdy. The second time I laced them up one of the eyelets broke. That rendered them useless in my opinion. With no more use for these boots, I returned them the next day.
