The all black version of these shoes are...

The all black version of these shoes are actually widely used as umpire plate shoes. I have been using them for over 7 years to umpire in and I love them. I'm on my second pair and have no plans to switch.

My grandson was scared of grandpa's shoes, it was really funny. But why I am writing is to let you know that the met guard on this shoe saved my husband from serious injury on the job. It sure is worth having extra safety features on work shoes.

I would not hike in these boots, but I bought them for working around steel frames that we construct. They look weird, but they are very comfortable.
