I have a Buddy who farms in Northern Michigan every year around hunting season he sports a pair of these John Deere Insulated Cotton Duck Bib Overalls (JD93163) and swears by them to be the absolute best bib overalls for farming ,hunting, fishing, and riding quads out in the fields. I convinced him to let me try out one of the more worn pair hanging in the pole barn.
I was impressed with the comfort and ease of movement wearing these seemingly bulky overalls. I can see where the reinforced leggings come in handy while working and playing in the fields. I guess the trim around the pockets is just decorative.
I would recommend these to anyone riding quads in the fields.
