one big boot...

Beautiful looking boot, nice leather and detail; the sole and heel are hard rubber but look like wood, a nice sturdy boot with a pretty shape; however, the sizing is crazy. I usually wear an 8 to 8.5 but have a wide foot, so I look for wide toe styles. Got this in an 8.5 W and it is huge. I measured the length of my foot and the boot. My foot is 9.5 inches long, this boot was almost 12 inches long, on the outside. Now, allowing for room to get inside and have a little room to move, I think a 7.5 W would work. I think they are a full size large in length but the wide width is good.
