If you are looking for a cold weather boot that has all the bells and whistles then this Carolina insulated met guard boot is it. This boot will keep your feet warm with the 1000g Thinsulate Ultra and dry with the Gore-Tex lining. They can take all the punishment you can throw at them too. The rugged toe cap minimizes wear and saves them from wearing out too fast where they take the most beating. The composite toe and rubber met guard keep the boot light, don't transfer cold and keep your feet well protected. For a met guard boot they are comfortable and took very little time to break in all with less bulk than an external met boot. This is not a year round boot due to the heavy insulation, but if you are looking for a dedicated cold weather boot or always work in cold conditions and still need a high level of protection, then these boots are the ticket.
