Tingley Boots: Men's Steel Toe Metatarsal Waterproof Rubber Boots MB816B

I was looking for a rubber boot with better support and foot protection for muddy construction/foundation work than the el-cheapo ones the company provided. These boots seem to be that. Not terribly expensive but a good quality boot. I've only had them a few weeks and will be interested to see how they hold up in the long run. If you don't like heavy boots these are not for you. If you normally wear heavy boots as I do it shouldn't phase you. I really like the clasps at the top of the boot, works great for keeping dirt, stones, etc. out. Only downside is the clasps themselves are plastic but do seem pretty sturdy. Steel shank and heavy tread is nice to walk and stand on all day. No more tired feet. At least for me they seem to run a little big which I don't mind because it gives your feet a little room to breathe, but they are a little loose. I put odor eater insoles under the insole it comes with so that helps. Plus it gives me room for insulated socks if I want. Only reason I don't give 5 stars is because of no moisture-wicking lining. Being rubber boots, in warm weather especially they do make your feet and lower legs sweat, mine anyway, so that feature would be nice. All in all, I would highly recommend these boots if nothing in my review has turned you off of them. They are exactly what I was looking for.
