Quality dropped...
By: Scott
This is my second pair of these boots. First pair was great, second pair seems to be off lesser quality. Soles are cheaply constructed and contain gaps. 3 star rating is based on the durability of first pair.

Excellent pair of boots...
By: Koolio
The first day I wore these boots I was worried that my feet would suffer, I had them on for 10 hours and they felt great on my feet without a break in period.. A friend has had a pair for over a year now so they do hold up well and still look good. I will be recommending these boots to all my friends.

I ordered a pair of these boots based off others review of the keen brand. I found the break in easy and after about 9+ months they are still pretty comfortable but being in the plumbing and heating business the weight of the boot really starts to take its toll on your knees.

Good but not great...
By: Jack
I've had the boots for about 9 months now, so I think I qualify for a review. First, they are super stiff. They took about 3 weeks before breaking in. My heels were raw. The toes are pretty thick with the rubber, which is good if you do flat work like I do. But they are so large you have no feel for your foot- like my left foot is constantly getting hooked by the toe when I use the clutch in my truck. Like clown shoes. The soles wear real well, but again I have no "feel". I guess that's the trade off. The upper lace hooks are pot metal, and they bend when you sit on your feet when kneeling. I tried bending them back to get the laces out and 2 of them snapped right off. Not good. I normally wear the rubber toed Wolverine Crawfords, which have their own problems, and wanted to see if there was something better. For me, the Keen is overpriced and too Frankenstein-ish. I'll keep looking.
